Canada Post is seeking reliable individuals for on-call mail carrier positions. This role focuses on safety and efficiency while sorting and delivering mail items. Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of local routes and ensure secure handling of all mail during transport.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and deliver mail items accurately and timely
• Acquire knowledge of local delivery routes and conditions
• Ensure secure handling of all mail during transport
• Process postal products and services effectively
• Display Canada Post identification while on duty
Requirements:
• Driver’s license – class 5 or G required
• Proven protected driving record, abstract needed
• Experience in delivery and vehicle operation
• Vehicle must meet cargo capacity requirements
• Valid automobile liability insurance necessary
