Traffic Dispatcher/Road Operations Coordinator

In this essential role, you will monitor road operations in real-time and oversee traffic activities with a focus on public safety. This position requires problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in mining camp conditions. Strong communication is vital for maintaining proper contact with field crews and addressing safety issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and document traffic operations continuously
• Communicate effectively using radios and phones
• Manage traffic control measures for safety compliance
• Log incidents and operational reports accurately
• Act upon safety concerns with authority to alter traffic
Requirements:
• Experience in dispatching or road operations preferred
• Strong English communication abilities, verbal and written
• Self-motivated and adept in data management
• Basic computer skills for reporting tasks
• Comfortable in secluded work environments
Support road safety and operations integrity with your dispatching expertise in Nunavut.
