Join Emterra Group as a Side Load Truck Driver, operating vehicles for curbside recycling and waste collection in Ontario. Embrace your role in sustainability while delivering exceptional customer service.
As a crucial part of our team, you will operate waste collection and recycling vehicles while ensuring you’re following all safety protocols. You'll conduct pre and post-trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports efficiently. This role requires a commitment to timely route completion and excellent service to community members.
Key Responsibilities- Operate side load waste collection/recycling vehicles
- Load curbside materials carefully into the truck
- Maintain safe working practices on every job
- Complete assigned routes in a secure and timely manner
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence and clean abstract
- Minimum one year of driving experience with DZ licence
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Pass drug and alcohol testing as required
- Complete criminal background check successfully
