Join Fed Ex as a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, ensuring our fleet operates efficiently. This role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and meticulous documentation of repairs.
As a key member of the Fed Ex team, you will be responsible for maintaining gasoline, diesel, and hydraulic fleet vehicles with modern diagnostic tools.
Your role includes heavy lifting of vehicle parts, calling for physical strength and strict safety adherence, as well as documenting repairs and communicating maintenance needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot issues with diagnostic equipment
• Document all service and repair activities
• Lift vehicle components up to 70 lbs safely
• Operate under strict safety protocols
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Certification as Automotive Service Technician or Truck and Coach Technician
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Proficient in using diagnostic testing equipment
• Valid G-class driver’s license with a great driving record
