Relief Driver G Class

Position: Relief Driver G Class at Dixon Hall
Drive for Dixon Hall as a Relief Driver with a G Class license and deliver Meals on Wheels across Ontario. Ensure safe transport for clients and volunteers while providing excellent service.

This permanent relief position reports directly to the Supervisor for Meals on Wheels. You will be responsible for picking up meals from designated locations, unloading them, and delivering them on multiple routes. Additionally, your role includes assisting clients, ensuring their safety, and providing support to volunteers during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and deliver Meals on Wheels bags efficiently

• Pick up food from designated locations

• Provide direction to volunteers during routes

• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues promptly

Requirements:

• Valid Class G driver’s license and insurance

• Clean driver’s abstract; at least 25 years old

• Excellent communication skills; sensitive to client needs

• Ability to work evenings and weekends

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record check
