Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience Will train.
Work location On site – work must be completed at the physical location. No remote option available.
Responsibilities Load and unload goods
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle performance
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Credentials Driver’s License (Class 1 or
A)
Experience and Specialization Documentation knowledge – inspection report (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip)
Communication Systems Experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
