Join Pembina Trails as a dedicated Bus Driver for safe student transport. This role focuses on compliance, vehicle maintenance, and proper student management.
The ideal candidate will provide transportation for Bus #6, servicing Henry G. Izatt School and Ecole Crane. Required are both a Class 1 or 2 Manitoba Driver's License and a clean driving record. Following safety protocols and understanding student needs are central to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe transport for students and staff
• Maintain up-to-date route maps displayed in the bus
• Monitor student behavior and report any misconduct
• Conduct detailed pre-trip bus inspections
• Facilitate bus evacuation drills periodically
Requirements:
• Class 1 or 2 Manitoba Driver's License required
• Current Manitoba School Bus Driver's License needed
• Excellent driving record as shown by Driver's Abstract
• At least one year of driving experience preferred
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
