In this pivotal role, you will manage the validation and release cycles of navigation databases serving Air Canada's fleets. With over three years of experience in aeronautical services, your contributions will ensure compliance with aviation regulations and operational standards. Your expertise will directly influence flight operations and safety by analyzing and resolving navigation data issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end management of FMS and TAWS databases
• Validate navigation data releases for compliance
• Evaluate data changes and initiate alert procedures
• Support resolution of navigation anomalies impacting safety
• Maintain aeronautical procedure coding and validation
Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in aviation or engineering
• Minimum of 3 years in Flight Operations or Aeronautical Services
• Knowledge of ICAO standards and ARINC coding
• Proficiency in FMS and TAWS vendor software
• Strong analytical and technical decision-making skills
