• Wage: $28.00 per hour + $1.75 shift differential

  Wednesday 1pm - 7pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7am - 7pm

The Yard Spotter Commercial Driving License is primarily responsible for safety handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within a local area. The position requires compliance with safety & DOT Regulations, continuous training and customer service. Incumbent must be at least 21 years of age.

• Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and within a local area on public roads
• Ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and/or State laws, regulations and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
• Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Maintaining accurate move and yard inventory records

Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Required Ability to meet Ryder's driving qualifications.

• H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred
• Must have a minimum of 9 months verifiable experience in commercial driving,

• Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months,

• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A & in the US, Required & Vaid Driver's License (AZ/Class1), in Canada, Required Travel No Safety Sensitive
