Receiving Associate

Position: Receiving Associate at The Home Depot

As a Receiving Associate, you'll be an essential member of our team, responsible for both unloading merchandise and processing incoming goods efficiently. You'll utilize powered lift equipment and follow standard procedures to maintain an organized receiving area. Accuracy is key as you'll compare delivery documents to purchase orders and address any discrepancies right away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload merchandise using powered equipment

• Follow receiving standards and manage freight effectively

• Maintain cleanliness in the receiving area

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders

• Schedule deliveries and input information into the system
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of receiving experience

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Ability to lift heavy items frequently

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
