Dispatcher Role Transportation

Join a fast-paced Transportation team in Winnipeg as a Dispatcher focusing on safety and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes compliance and operational excellence while managing resources effectively.

We are seeking a Dispatcher with at least one year of planning or dispatch experience in an FTL and LTL transportation environment. Knowledge of Truckmate software and strong customer service skills are highly desirable.

Your role will be vital in enhancing our service delivery to customers while supporting Drivers and the operations team in achieving daily objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a culture of health and safety within the team

• Collaborate with Drivers to manage their hours and compliance

• Develop routing patterns for efficient transportation

• Maintain accuracy in shipping documentation

• Communicate effectively and manage Driver resources

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of dispatch experience in transportation

• High school graduation or equivalent

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working with company drivers and third-party carriers

• Familiarity with Winnipeg city geography is an asset
