Arnold Bros Transport Ltd. is committed to providing excellent service to our customers. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the Regional Planner plays a critical role in coordinating efficient routes for our fleet of Professional Drivers. The Regional Planner is an innovative problem-solver and efficient task manager, who proactively ensures that loads arrive on time and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and maintain a positive rapport with drivers, ensuring that their safety and wellbeing is at the center of all decisions.
  • Liaison with Dispatchers and review Night to Day Report to rectify unresolved load complications.
  • Meet with Planning Group to discuss network planning and operational goals.
  • Review available asset information to identify available tractors and provide details of equipment capabilities to sales/customer service.
  • Communicate asset/load assignment to Dispatchers.
  • Assign freight to the Logistics department to maintain service obligations.
  • Ensure that ABT minimizes operational delays in the region by supporting Maintenance Department initiatives.

    -3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize the daily responsibilities using multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer knowledge & experience specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook . Experience with TMW software is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational & problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate with others and work well within a team environment.
