Role
Summary:
The Dispatcher plays a vital role at the heart of daily operations, acting as the central link between drivers, customers, and internal teams. This role is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods, ensuring on-time performance, compliance with procedures, and seamless communication across all channels.
A successful dispatcher is a strong communicator, strategic thinker, and calm problem-solver—able to adapt quickly to changing conditions, prioritize tasks, and make real-time decisions that keep operations running smoothly.
Hours of Work:
Sunday – Wednesday, 12:00am – 10:00am (4 days, 10 hour shifts)

Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will:
Assign and adjust routes to maximize efficiency, reduce delays, and ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, providing directions, instructions, and support throughout the day.
Schedule and track freight and package volumes, balancing driver capacity with service expectations.
Respond promptly to unexpected events (traffic, mechanical issues, missed deliveries), finding solutions while maintaining service quality.
Use dispatching and logistics systems (e.g., TMS, GPS tracking) to log activity, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and company protocols.
Coordinate with customer service and clients to relay status updates, resolve concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, incidents, driver logs, and daily reports.
