Arnold Bros Transport Night Operations Dispatcher

Arnold Bros. Transport Ltd. seeks a Night Operations Dispatcher dedicated to optimizing fleet management during night shifts. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service while supporting our drivers.

As the Night Operations Dispatcher, you will oversee logistics and assist drivers during the 7 PM to 7 AM shift. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations, your role is vital for addressing trip challenges and fostering communication between drivers, customers, and planning teams. Strong multitasking and communication skills will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trace and manage fleet assets throughout trips

• Coach drivers on home time and performance metrics

• Work with planners to resolve delivery issues

• Communicate important safety information to drivers

• Update customers on load movements daily

Requirements:

• Minimum grade 12; further education is a plus

• 2-3 years’ experience in fleet or logistics

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

• Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office

• Team-oriented mindset with multitasking abilities
