Support the community as a Bus Driver for Sask Rivers School Division in Birch Hills. This temporary full-time role runs from September 1, 2026 to June 23, 2027, focusing on student safety and comfort.
We seek a qualified candidate with relevant driving experience to operate a school bus along designated rural routes. The role demands adherence to safety protocols and a high standard of driving, requiring a valid Class 1 5 license with a School Bus Endorsement and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive students safely during morning and afternoon routes
• Perform regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate effectively with students and school staff
• Maintain records of travel and report any incidents
• Ensure the bus remains clean and orderly
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 5 driver's license with School Bus Endorsement
• Clean driver's abstract with 3-5 years of driving experience
• Completion of Saskatchewan Rivers Drivers Training Course
• Availability to work full-time during the academic year
