As a Junior Foreman, your primary responsibility will involve supporting the Dock Foreman in maintaining daily operations at our Winnipeg Terminal. You'll assist in planning delivery routes within the city and surrounding areas while promoting safety standards and service quality. Shifts are primarily Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM, including some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Dock Foreman to streamline operations
• Plan and execute delivery routes
• Uphold safety regulations and service objectives
• Train new employees on dock procedures
• Cover Foreman duties as required
Requirements:
• Have knowledge of Winnipeg and adjacent rural town logistics
• Demonstrated leadership skills in directing team efforts
• Willingness to learn new operational techniques
• Capability to train and mentor new team members
• Flexibility for attending to weekend shifts
