Cornwall Dock Worker - Night Shifts

Join us as a Dock Worker I in Cornwall, Ontario, working night shifts from Sunday to Thursday. Your main focus will be to manage the movement of trailers and containers efficiently in our yard.

You will have varying duties, including loading and unloading trailers, completing crucial paperwork, and keeping the dock orderly and clean.

Your role is critical for the safe transfer of cargo, requiring both physical prowess and attention to detail during operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load/unload trailers during shifts

• Lift items weighing up to 50lbs without assistance

• Accurately complete freight paperwork

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dock

• Shunt trailers and perform local moves, if qualified

Requirements:

• Availability for night shifts between 11:00pm and 07:30am

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate paperwork

• Experience with trailer loading and unloading preferred

• Ability to consistently lift heavy weights

• Valid local moving license when applicable
