This position offers up to 29 hours per week and requires a commitment to the mission of diverting donated goods from landfills to benefit Diabetes Canada. You will be responsible for safely collecting clothing and household items from community members, helping to foster a positive community connection while generating funds for charitable programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive designated pick-up routes for donations
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Complete and submit all required paperwork daily
• Provide friendly service to ensure donor satisfaction
• Communicate any issues directly with dispatch
Requirements:
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Five years or more of driving experience required
• Ability to lift and carry items ranging from 10-50 lbs
• Basic understanding of navigating and mapping routes
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
