Long Haul Truck Driver Class 1

Drive straight or articulated trucks while managing route planning, cargo safety, and vehicle inspections on changing roads and work locations.
This long haul truck driver position requires English and secondary school graduation. Experience is an asset, with frequent or constant travel required from the employee. Responsibilities include transporting goods, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining vehicle condition. Drivers use GPS or other navigation devices to adjust routes and reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate straight or articulated trucks transporting goods and materials
Plan routes using GPS and computer navigation equipment
Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo safely
Inspect vehicles, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
Record cargo, service hours, distance, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
Secondary school graduation certificate
English language ability
Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi trailer trucks
Air Brakes Endorsement
Experience is an asset
