Position: Warehouse Associate with The Salvation Army
Become a crucial part of The Salvation Army's Ontario Distribution Centre as a Warehouse Associate. This full-time role involves shipping, receiving, and efficient inventory management, ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

As a Distribution and Recycling Associate, your role will center on effective goods handling and maintaining inventory accuracy. You'll operate forklifts, inspect incoming goods, and support the loading and unpacking of trucks. Collaborating with warehouse staff and drivers will be essential to ensure operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform shipping and receiving of goods efficiently

• Operate various forklifts to manage warehouse stock

• Inspect goods for quality and expiration dates

• Assist with inventory reconciliation tasks

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Current forklift operator’s certificate

• Over 6 months of warehouse experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills
