Fast-Paced Temporary | Heavy General Labour

Looking for a job that keeps you fit without burning you out? Randstad is looking for immediate temporary help for a project in South West Winnipeg. We need physically strong individuals who can work at a fast pace to meet unloading deadlines.

• Immediate start
• $16/hr;
  Get paid weekly via direct deposit, 4% vacation pay paid weekly
• Shifts are typically 6–8 hours. If the team moves fast and finishes early, you head home! (3:30pm - 11:30pm)
• Perfect role to build strength and stamina. It’s heavy lifting with high‑intensity intervals—effectively a paid workout.
• Potential for extra hours if the workload is heavy.
• You aren't just a number; you work in a dedicated two-person team. This builds accountability and a more social, supportive atmosphere than solo picking or packing roles.
• Conveniently located in South West Winnipeg, making it an easy commute for residents of Linden Woods, Whyte Ridge, Bridgewater, or Fort Garry.

• Assist in safely opening and securing heavy rail car doors and setting up dock plates/ramps for forklift access.
• Ensure bags are stacked neatly and securely on pallets to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Work in pairs to rapidly unload bags of seeds and grains.
• Repetitively lift and move bags of seeds and grains weighing between 50 lbs and 100 lbs.
• Work at maximum capacity to unload pallets, followed by short rest periods while the forklift clears the area.
• Participate in a "clean sweep" of the docking area at the end of the shift to prepare the facility for the next day's operations.

• Ability to maintain a fast work rate for the duration of the task.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs in teams of two safely.
• Must have your own steel‑toed boots. Safety vest and gloves are also required.
• This is temporary work for those ready to start right away.
• This is a team‑based role; your partner relies on you to show up and work hard.
• Prior experience with heavy general labour is an asset.
