Reporting directly to the Recycling Location Manager, you will take charge of daily recycling yard operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating all movements of scrap materials and maintaining oversight of employee performance. This role is vital in promoting a culture of safety and continual improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage incoming and outgoing scrap materials

• Supervise safe and efficient handling of scrap by staff

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to reduce operational downtime

• Ensure proper equipment use to prevent accident costs

• Manage employee training, scheduling, and performance reviews
Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant recycling experience

• Supervisory experience necessary

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Knowledge of safety and legal regulations in Manitoba

• Capability to manage team performance and accountability
