Position: General Merchandise Warehouse Role
Become a key player at The North West Company in a part-time General Merchandise Warehouse role located in Winnipeg. This role includes picking and palletizing merchandise for our stores.

In this position, you will be responsible for organizing and counting products efficiently while operating essential equipment like manual pallet jacks and RF Scan Guns. Your expertise will help meet the store's distribution needs, ensuring order accuracy and timely delivery to various locations. Physical strength and detail orientation are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detail incoming purchase orders and organize freight

• Pick items in various zones for distribution

• Deliver and stage products in designated areas

• Verify and manifest orders meticulously

• Keep a clean and safe working area at all times

Requirements:

• Shipping/receiving experience is an asset

• Capable of lifting between 20 and 70 pounds safely

• Proficient in using RF hand-held computers

• Strong attention to detail in verifying counts

• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently
