Material Handler in Distribution & Logistics

Take on a key role as a Material Handler to support Supply and Logistics at Shared Health. Engage in inventory management and customer service while operating within a computerized environment.

This position requires effective communication and teamwork in a hospital setting. You'll perform various duties such as picking items from the warehouse, operating a tugger, and delivering specimens. Familiarity with SAP and medical terminology enhances your suitability for this Material Handler role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory and supply deliveries within the facility

• Operate a tugger safely for transport purposes

• Pick and put away items efficiently in the warehouse

• Deliver non-SCM items including linen and medical records

• Communicate effectively with staff and patients

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Prior warehousing and inventory management experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

• Forklift license may be required at some sites

• Ability to lift heavy items and meet physical demands
