Shipping​/Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
As a Shipping/Warehouse Associate at our glass installation company specializing in windows, shower doors, and custom store fixtures, you will be a crucial part of our operations team. You will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and shipment of fragile and valuable glass products, frames, hardware, and related materials.

Responsibilities
Shipping Operations

Accurately pick and pack glass products (shower doors, window panes, custom mirrors, store fixtures) based on work orders, installation schedules, or customer pickup requests.

Use appropriate packing materials (corner protectors, edge guards, foam, cardboard, wooden crates) to prevent breakage during transit.

Stage completed orders for installation crew pickup, customer will-call, or carrier shipment.

Receiving Operations

Verify received quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.

Inspect all glass products for chips, cracks, scratches, or dimensional issues immediately upon arrival.

Label and store received items in designated warehouse locations following safety guidelines for glass storage.

Inventory Control

Perform regular cycle counts of high-value glass inventory and hardware.

Identify and quarantine damaged, defective, or obsolete products.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control.

Basic math skills for counting inventory.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $21.79-$25.76 per hour
