Position: Forklift Operator (2 week contract)

Forklift Operator (Warehouse)
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00–$19.00 per hour

About the Opportunity:
Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator for a full-time, permanent position with one of our valued clients in the distribution industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment with consistent hours and long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and organize products
  • Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate inventory organization and warehouse cleanliness
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure all outgoing orders are properly recorded
  • Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality, reporting any discrepancies
  • Initiate and document claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect items
  • Support general warehouse operations as needed

    • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting
  • Valid forklift certification is considered an asset
  • Experience working with fresh produce is required
  • Familiarity with RF scanners is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekends as required
