Warehouse Team Leader
Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader, for the Richelieu Hardware Canada Limited Winnipeg Location.

Position Summary
The Warehouse Team Leader is a key leader within Richelieu Hardware’s supply chain, responsible for driving operational efficiency, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction. This role bridges tactical execution with strategic planning, ensuring warehouse processes consistently meet and exceed standards for accuracy, speed, and safety.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to
Leadership & Staff Management

Lead and mentor warehouse personnel to optimize performance, accountability, and professional growth.

Operational Excellence

Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including inbound/outbound logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory control.

Apply lean methodologies to reduce waste and minimize downtime.

Utilize data and KPIs to monitor productivity, identify bottlenecks, and improve workflows.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards through inspections and audits.

Promote a safety-first culture by integrating awareness, accountability, and prevention into daily operations.

Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Inventory & Materials Management

Lead accurate and timely cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.

Oversee warehouse management system (WMS) maintenance and RF scanning protocols.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to anticipate and prevent operational disruptions.

Act as a liaison between operations and customer service to resolve escalations professionally.

Maintain high service standards while balancing productivity objectives.

Administration & Strategic Input

Maintain documentation related to shipments, receiving, inventory, safety checks, and equipment maintenance.

Contribute to cost-saving initiatives for warehousing operations.

Provide operational insights to support continuous improvement and long-term strategic planning.

Requirements

Experience of 3–5+ years in warehouse/logistics supervision with proven team leadership

Proficient in Excel; strong data analysis and reporting skills

Forklift & First Aid certification preferred; safety management experience is a strong asset
