Storekeeper for Nunavut Camp Operations

Join Dexterra Group as a Storekeeper/Inventory Control Clerk Assistant in a full-time capacity at a Nunavut camp. This role is crucial for the effective management of materials and services in a remote environment.

Candidates with a background in hospitality, food and beverage, or supply chain management will excel in this position. You will oversee inventory control, receive and track supplies, and collaborate with various departments to ensure prompt service. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the receipt and organization of daily shipments

• Monitor stock levels and manage inventory records accurately

• Follow safety protocols for handling perishable and hazardous materials

• Coordinate movements of products between facilities

• Prepare consumption reports and assist with cost control strategies

Requirements:

• Three years’ experience as a storekeeper or in inventory management

• Direct knowledge of perishable food practices

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clear driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in logistics preferred

• Detail-oriented with a capacity for independent work
