As a Material Handler I at Ryder, you'll work under the logistics supervisor, ensuring efficient warehouse functions. Your responsibilities include accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, while maintaining adherence to performance guidelines. You'll deal with various paperwork and provide technical support for automated systems during production hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload products efficiently in the warehouse
• Pack and stage items for shipping and receiving
• Operate forklifts safely and effectively
• Maintain accurate paperwork for shipments and returns
• Support automated packing system operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of warehouse and forklift experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License required
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
