Plant & Warehouse Assistant

Location: Headingley

Adecco is currently hiring a Plant & Warehouse Assistant for our client in Headingley, MB. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for reliable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a production and warehouse environment. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferred to support travel requirements associated with the role.
You will support daily seed processing, packaging, inventory management, quality control, and warehouse operations.

• Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
• Location: Headingley, MB
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time
• Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:
Production & Seed Processing

• Assist with seed treatment, seed counting, sampling, packaging, and bagging operations
• Operate manual and automated production equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor product quality and treatment accuracy throughout the production process
• Follow established production procedures and quality standards

Warehouse & Inventory Support

• Assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts
• Move, organize, and store products and materials within the facility
• Prepare products for shipment and storage
• Support general warehouse activities as required

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance activities
• Help identify and report equipment issues or operational concerns
• Support plant housekeeping and cleanup activities
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments and repairs where required

Quality & Safety

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support quality control activities to ensure product accuracy and compliance
• Adhere to operational procedures and company standards at all times

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous production, warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, or labour experience is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Ability to lift, move, and stack bags weighing up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work around production equipment in an active facility environment
• Physically capable of performing manual labour in a fast-paced setting
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are preferred to support travel requirements associated with the role.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
