Night Outbound Warehouse Worker

Support outbound dock operations at The North West Company in Winnipeg during regular part-time overnight shifts. Use shipping and receiving skills while handling cartons, trailers, and merchandise.
As a Warehouse Worker, Nights, you support NWC’s distribution center through outbound shipping functions. You will assist goods traffic, process merchandise, operate handheld computers, and maintain safe work practices. The Monday-to-Friday schedule runs from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Outbound Manager with traffic flow of goods
- Unload and load trailers within outbound shipping operations
- Strap and sort cartons for shipment processing
- Process merchandise to proper shipping locations
- Operate handheld computers and maintain a clean workplace
- Previous warehouse shipping or receiving experience preferred
- Forklift or material handling equipment experience is an asset
- Ability to obtain required material handling certification
- Knowledge of airport and airplane loading procedures
- Attention to detail when following instructions and standard procedures
