Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Working as Part-time Accounts Receivable Support, you will enjoy the opportunity to participate in a fast-paced work environment focusing on a variety of accounts receivable duties for Fastenal's world-wide locations. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Applying customer payments and analyzing exceptions

o Processing maintenance transactions on customer accounts

o Reviewing and approving tax exemption certificates

o Reconciling weekly cash proofs

o Conducting customer service via telephone and/or e-mail correspondence

o Performing other administrative tasks as needed

REQUIRED POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Work independently and in a team environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

o Prior accounting experience

o People Soft knowledge

COMPENSATION:

The pay range for this position is $15/hr
-18.75/hr.
