Substitute Paraprofessionals – All Programs
Hiawatha Valley Education District is seeking on‑call Substitute Paraprofessionals for all of our programs.
Job Summary- Assisting teachers in their teaching duties and other general responsibilities.
- Adapt classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the supervising teacher.
- Monitor special education students to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
- Must meet the highly qualified criteria:
Associate’s degree or higher degree, or meet the Minnesota Certified Para Pro Assessment. - Experience working with students/children preferred.
- Office duties, lifting, sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, keyboarding, etc.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Non‑Exempt.
