Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Base Pay Range: $23.00/hr – $23.00/hr
Full Time. Monday – Thursday: 4:30 pm – 3:00 am. Rate: $22.58 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.
Sign‑On Bonus: $1,600.

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate production lines at pre‑determined speeds in accordance with established standards.
- Perform line change oversight on production lines.
- Address minor maintenance situations on equipment before, during, and after production runs.
- Inspect and evaluate equipment for operating defects and keep Maintenance advised regarding the status of equipment repair or replacement.
- Provide work direction to line workers (utilities) and assist in training new employees.
- Perform general housekeeping and cleanup on and around lines during down time and at the end of production runs.
- Monitor and evaluate finished product for safe quality control standards.
Ideal candidate qualifications include:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with applicable reading and math skills.
- Basic knowledge of general mechanical functions to assist in repairs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example on production lines.
- Adaptability to changing working environments.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and deductive reasoning to evaluate solutions.
- Successfully completed a strength assessment exam and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
