Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

This position is for a Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer. The role involves developing and recommending inspection and sampling techniques, quality plans, and process control procedures to ensure production of finished products that meet quality specifications and standards.

The key responsibilities include:

• Statistical Analysis:
  Develops and recommends inspection and sampling techniques, quality plans, and process control procedures. Performs process capability analysis and uses probability distributions and statistical parameters for data summarization.
• Development, Maintenance, and Review:
  Prepares and supervises inspection and testing procedures, participates in the development of quality specifications, and performs audits of the quality system.
• Customer, Vendor Interface:
  Receives, reviews, and responds to customer complaints, conducts research on reported product defects, and informs vendors of their ratings.
• Technical Assistance:
  Provides technical assistance to operators and support personnel, assists in training, and shares responsibility with design and manufacturing engineering to analyze and sign off layouts.

The ideal candidate must have formal training in statistics and an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification is preferred. The candidate should have proven analytical abilities, be a self-starting individual, and have the ability to effectively plan their work with a positive attitude and good judgment.
