Job Overview

Join Target as a General Merchandise Expert. This role is responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, and putting up promotional signs.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services, such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate technology equipment.
• Work independently and with a team to resolve guest questions and accomplish tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
