Position Details
- Permanent, full‑time (37 hours per week)
- Location:
Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service HQ, Sadler Road, Winsford - Salary: £31,537 – £33,699 per annum, within Salary Scale 6 (based on experience)
Responsibilities
- Support or deputise for the Governance and Corporate Planning Manager to ensure arrangements for the coordination of all Authority decision‑making and performance and overview functions comply with procedural and legislative obligations.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of an electronic committee system to facilitate effective coordination of member and senior management meetings, producing timely and accurate records.
- Support delivery of the Service’s Corporate Planning process through maintenance of planning templates, toolkits and guidance documents; organise meetings at key points of the year; provide guidance and support to departments in respect of corporate and departmental planning.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment requiring flexibility, strong teamwork, support and prioritisation to meet tight deadlines.
