Group Financial Accountant

Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing privately owned specialist manufacturing company based in Winsford to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. This is an exciting time to join the business as they embark on a period of growth and transformation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for Financial Accounts, Group Consolidations and process improvement. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with hands‑on experience in consolid, management reporting, and analysis.

• Provide proactive support to the Financial Controller in managing group-wide financial reporting
• Oversee month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of results
• Post selected transactions where required and review financial data prepared by the wider team
• Prepare the consolidation and management information pack for shareholders, including results, KPIs, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with finance and non‑finance colleagues to drive efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct analytical reviews of performance, costs, and margins to support business decisions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management processes
