Payroll & Finance Officer

We are currently supporting our Cheshire based client to recruit an experienced Payroll & Finance professional into their payroll team to support and develop the existing payroll service to their clients within the public sector, a real team player who will support and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients. This role will involve completing the full end to end payroll process and all year end activities, accurately and in a timely manner.

• End to end payroll
  - Monthly
• Ability to perform finance functions alongside Payroll
• Manipulation of data within Excel
• Year end processes including the preparation of P11D's and HMRC submissions
• Assist with finance functions
  - Purchase ledger, invoicing
• Providing a first class customer service to clients
• Processing of LGPS pensions and TPS

• Experienced end to end payroller
• Excellent communicator
• Payroll experience, including all year end activities
• Experience of working with local authority would be an advantage
• Full time
• Opportunity to transition a payroll

• Fully remote - once a month in the office in Cheshire
