Inventory Controller

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Inventory Controller/Stores Assistant to join our clients team at their Winsford site.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing goods in and goods despatched, carrying out stock checks and resolving discrepancies. You will also help ensure inventory areas meet customer requirements, while supporting a safe, clean and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate records of goods received and goods despatched, including checking weights where required.

* Accurately book inbound deliveries onto system

* Assist with stock checks and cycle counts.

* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies stock queries.

* Produce accurate daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports and statistics.

* Carry out other duties as required, subject to appropriate training.

For the Inventory/Stores Controller you will ideally have:

* A Counterbalance Forklift Truck Certificate.

* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

* Some computer system knowledge

* Good communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* A friendly, approachable and professional attitude.
