- Must hold a current AZ license and BLS is AHA and active
- 40 hour work
- Housing and RV lots are available in Winslow, AZ and the candidate might also have to float to the Dilkon, AZ facility as well but no housing in that area
- RV lots are about $500 per month
- Housing if available, are fully furnished and includes everything and is $1,200 per month
Under general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist, the Clinical Pharmacist provides direct pharmaceutical care in the outpatient pharmacy program within Winslow Indian Health Care Center. This position is considered as the major source of pharmaceutical clinical information and is expected to manage selected patients with chronic disease states, as well as providing pharmaceutical care for acute patients. Upholds the principles of WIHCC’s Vision, Mission, and Value Statements.
Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm
D) is required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy and Licensed by a State Board of Pharmacy or have a Pharmacy Intern license and complete North American Pharmacist Licensure Exam (NAPLEX) & Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) test within three months of graduation to be granted a full Pharmacy License. A BLS certification is required. An ACLS certification is required within a year of hire.
Bilingual skills in English and Navajo language preferred. Must maintain a valid unrestricted and insurable driver’s license. Must successfully pass a background investigation and maintain suitable requirements for a Child Care position. This position is considered as a Child Care position, which requires a satisfactory background check investigation and is subject to the requirements of the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act, as amended (henceforth referred as the ICPFVP Act).
