A Patient Care Technician (PCT) in a clinic setting plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals and ensuring patients receive quality care.
Requirements- Education
- High School Diploma required or GED.
- Completed training in Patient Care Technician program and graduated course.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Medical Assistant diploma preferred.
- Specific Skills
- Good verbal and written communication, ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner, strict adherence to LCMCs policies and procedures to specifically include confidentiality.
- Computer Skills
- Word and Excel programs, must be able to maintain an Excel spreadsheet for tracking.
- Licenses
- N/A
- Certifications
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- One (1) year or 2080 hours of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant.
