Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients within a nursing home environment and develop, implement, and document nursing care plans.
- Assist physicians by performing various patient assessments and tests.
- Administer medications within the scope of practice of a registered nurse.
- Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self‑care skills.
- Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish care goals.
- Report to a manager or head of the department.
- Certified Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Ability to obtain a level 1 fingerprint clearance upon hire.
