Ensure the reliable operation & safety of locomotive electrical systems and shop machinery;
Test, inspect, and repair electrical components of locomotive systems and shop machinery;
Maintain and repair locomotive alternators, generators, motors, AC/DC power control systems, electrical cabinets, lighting, batteries, and wiring;
Inspect, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of shop equipment and perform preventative maintenance to ensure proper function.
