Student Centers Representative Position Summary

The Student Centers Representative will assist in overseeing general management of the Donald Julian Reeves Student Activities Center and the Cleon
F. Thompson Center. The role includes setting up events and activities within the facilities, supervising student workers (FWS), coordinating day‑to‑day functions of the program, planning and organizing activities, communicating and interpreting program information, policy and procedures, and providing excellent customer service to clients. The position may involve serving as a program assistant, assisting with transactional services, and handling problem‑solving processes. Program areas of assignment may include: support of fund development, facilities coordination and administration, event coordination, and program and administrative support services.
- Assist in general management of student activity centers.
- Set up and coordinate events and activities within the facilities.
- Supervise student workers to support events and activities.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day functions of the program.
- Plan and organize activities and events.
- Communicate and interpret program information and policies.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Assist with transactional services and problem‑solving processes.
Minimum:
High School Diploma and 2 years of front‑facing customer service experience.
- Prior experience working with students, faculty, staff, and external clients in a professional service‑oriented setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team‑oriented environment.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- No requirement for a Commercial Driver’s License or any medical/drug tests.
USD 17.00 per hour, 20 hours per week, 6 months (temporary). Hours vary.
