Tire Max Tire offers complete quality automotive repair and preventative maintenance. Our ASE certified technicians will be happy to help you on a wide range of services including alignments, brake repair, oil changes, batteries, shocks and struts, belts and hoses, and air conditioning.

The General Service Technician is responsible for conducting non‑technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel‑related services, as well as driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness as needed.

Compensation: $15/hr – $22/hr

• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
• Observe general vehicle condition during basic services and report needed repairs or safety concerns.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, including service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior.
• Transport customers to and from their residence or business using company vehicle.
• Pick up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or corporate office.
• Operate company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Conduct state safety and emission inspections in accordance with company and state guidelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to management.

• 1 year of previous experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid, clean driver’s license; or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• General understanding of under‑the‑hood, mechanical and under‑carriage assemblies.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturdays.

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Temperature conditions may vary and include extreme heat or cold.

• Stand up to eight hours per day and walk to various areas of the building.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly; have full range of motion and ability to handle objects.
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Hear and speak normally.
• Have adequate vision to detect color, depth, and refocus.
