Field Crew - Commercial Construction

Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time Field Crew member for the Special Projects Group in its Winston-Salem, NC office.

Landmark Builders offers general construction, design/build, construction management, and upfit/renovation services throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. Our primary markets include industrial, distribution, office, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living construction.

The Field Crew position represents the first step in a construction career with Landmark Builders. This person will perform hands‑on construction tasks in support of our Special Projects Group. Field Crew members will gain construction experience, technical expertise, communication skills, and confidence, while serving as a valued contributor to the Special Projects team.

• Perform various construction tasks including carpentry, concrete work, and general labor. Required tasks may include but are not limited to:
  • Operating hand tools such as hammer drills, quickie saws, power washers, screw guns, circular saws, nail guns, etc.
  • Wood blocking installation
  • Installation of hollow metal door frames, doors, and hardware
  • Toilet partition installation
  • Concrete placement for sidewalks, dock leveler bases, equipment pads, piers, etc.
  • Flashing installation
  • Safety rail installation
  • Operation of lulls, skid steers, and lifts (with prior training)
  • Using hammer drills for installing dowels, expansion bolts, etc.
  • Using quickie saws for cutting rebar, misc. steel, concrete, block, etc.
  • Demolition
  • Unloading of various building materials
  • General cleanup
• Assist Project Superintendents with occasional site supervision as needed
• Assist Project Superintendents in ensuring adherence to Landmark Safety Program and promoting a safety‑first culture
• Interface with customers, inspectors, and other visitors on job sites as necessary
• Assist Project Superintendents in observance of construction activities for correctness and quality control
