REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for Lead Manager Maintenance in Winston Salem, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Safety is number one priority, job tasks are safe to perform, risk assessments and QRPs are completed, proper tools are used, and safety requirements and proper housekeeping are followed
  • Meet production and maintenance requirements and achieve quality targets
  • Achieve maintenance cost targets while driving cost reduction improvements
  • Maintain a high level of employee engagement
  • Alignment of maintenance staffing to perform maintenance tasks
  • Development of training plans to support equipment, process changes, individual and team capability development
  • Provides leadership to direct reports, contractors and third parties to meet manufacturing goals and
  • support strategic direction of function. Tracks and analyses performance metrics and uses data to
  • recommend improvements and identify process changes. Ensure project management is embedded in program execution. Participate in change management processes and helps others to understand reasons for change.
  • Work directly with OEM vendors to drive equipment part improvements for longer life, obsolescence changes, machine upgrade modifications
  • Cross shift point of contact for production supervisors on escalations for safety, quality, utilities, and maintenance issues
What Are We Looking For?
  • High School diploma or Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Technical, Business, Management
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in either electrical or mechanical maintenance or related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make sound and timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven self-starter who generates new ideas and challenges the status quo.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Professional Suite and other system driven controls and data.
  • Experience managing production employees in a manufacturing setting. (Desirable)
  • Experience in an FDA regulated work environment. (Desirable)
