Novant Health Cancer Institute seeks an exceptional, collaborative physician leader to join their program as the Market Leader for Oncology/Hematology in Winston‑Salem, NC and the surrounding region.

• The program promotes disease sub‑specialization with team‑based multidisciplinary care and collaborates closely with heart and vascular, neurology, and surgical institutes. It also hosts a growing FACT accredited cellular therapy program.
• The Greater Winston‑Salem Market is part of Novant Health Cancer Institute, which includes over 100 specialists in 30+ locations across North Carolina.
• This role reports to the system physician executive for Novant Health Cancer Institute, Dr. David Rizzieri. Together with other market leaders, the CPE will develop growth plans and execute on them.
• Provider will be on active medical staff with Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center and part of Novant Medical Group.

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a physician leader with continued formal development encouraged while in this role.

• This role involves administrative (.5 FTE) and clinical (.5 FTE) duties.
• Lead a group of 50+ providers at 9 clinic locations and collaborate with market leadership and administration of 5 hospitals in the region.
• Responsible for quality, safety, patient experience, financial performance, growth, and strategy objectives of the market, working with an administrative dyad partner.
