WAKE FOREST UNIVERSITY invites applications for a tenure‑track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Chemistry, effective July 1, 2026. The position is within the Department of Chemistry and will teach courses in inorganic chemistry at the graduate and undergraduate level, conduct research, serve the department and university, and contribute to community outreach.
Qualifications- An earned Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry is required.
- Ability to teach inorganic chemistry courses.
- Experience or potential to develop an externally funded, nationally recognized research program in synthetic inorganic chemistry involving undergraduate and graduate students.
- Commitment to an inclusive academic environment that fosters learning and growth for all stakeholders.

- Inorganic catalysis in small‑molecule activation and functionalization
- Other areas of synthetic inorganic chemistry
The individual will teach inorganic chemistry courses, engage in scholarly activities, participate in departmental, college, and university service, and support the university’s community outreach efforts.
